From 1978 to 1997 I was in the Retail Loss Prevention field culminating with my last position as Director of Loss Prevention Operations for 408 stores and 4 distribution centers in a 2-billion-dollar company. During that time while moving up the ladder I lived in New Jersey, Virginia, Upstate New York and the finally in Connecticut. During that time, I had to move 3 times and bought and sold homes simultaneously. I never felt my best interests were taken into account by the agents assigned to me and I made several mistakes as no one guided me. 

In 1997 after taking 3 days off after leaving Retail Loss Prevention I dove into real estate. My number one focus has to put myself in the shoes of the buyer or seller, educate them on the process and make believe their money was my money. I watch every step of the real estate journey with them and caution them when I think there is a problem. This approach has led to the sale over the years of 925 homes and 400+ rentals.

I have been in the top 5% of our area most of the years and led the companies I was with many times.

In my spare time over the years I was a volunteer for 19 years at St Mary’s Star of the Sea soup kitchen, meals on wheels in Haddam CT, the "announcer" for The Norwich Property owners Association and now became a member of the South eastern CT Land Trust. Southeastern CT is my home and I love the people and proud of our area.

My new association with Signature Properties is also one I can be proud of. They contribute generously to the community, have strong ethical values, robust tech capabilities and most importantly it’s a family company rooted in South Eastern CT. Money made here, stays here in Southeastern CT and not sent outside of our area.
